Tea Room Ventures and Venues Share all about one of your favorite tea rooms. Use photos and descriptions to tell about the decor and ambiance, menus, service, and what makes this tea room special to you. Does this tea room have a gift shop? What kind of special treasures does it contain?
This weeks tea Blog a Thon leaves me with no pictures or any memeories to share. As we raised boys to men and not once did it involve a "Tea Room". However, that doesn't mean there won't be one in the future! For now I would have to say that HOME is and has been the most favorite Tea Room refuge there is. Fellowship with friends over tea (or coffee), is absolutley marvelous. It is a wonderful time to encourage one another in the Word of God, in our marriages, to love our husbands and our children, and to share homeschooling ideas and especially to pray for one another.
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Titus 2:3-5

Oh this is so true. Tea in the home is the most comforting for sure. Blessings.
I like your post. Although I enjoy the occasional tearoom outing, I do think that fellowship over tea or coffee in one's home seems better and richer. It also gives us the opportunity to serve others.
God bless you too! It is difficult with the boys to do all of the frilly things that girls like to do. We have three sons, but interestingly enough, now that they are more settled and married they share an occasional cup of tea with their wifes or me. I loved your post.
When we lived in California, about every other month we would make a little trip to Morro Bay and Cambria. We found a wonderful little tea house off the beaten path. It's called the "Tea Cozy" and their website is www.teacozy.com. It's a great place to introduce little girls to high tea. My granddaughters love it!

Be it ever so humble, there is no tea room like home. So true.
Home is the perfect place for tea! I think my guys like tea there best as well. Although I started taking my sons to tea rooms when they were quite young, I think they prefer our daily 'tea rituals' in the family room best.
Thanks for sharing!

It is true that the best place to serve tea is in your own home with friends or family. Thank you for a great post!
