Which will it be?

Lemons are a strange little fruit.

They can add such delicious flavor to a cake or a glass of iced tea.

But have you ever taken a bite out of one?

Your whole face goes into contortions and you shudder.

I've run into many in my life who's face has frozen in that positon.

It's much better to make lemonade when life gives you lemons.

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Psalm 34:8

What a wonderful passage used in this post.

I remember when my Lizzie at a year old, sitting in the grocery cart holding a lemon. You can imagine her facial expression once she bit into the fruit! Poor little thing! The lemon bread was much tastier that her first taste of lemon. :o)

That cake looks wonderful! Is that something you made? I love lemon recipes, especially in the summertime.

I normally make cakes from scratch but I had this box mix in the cupboard and followed the directions plus added 1 cup lemon juice, and made cream cheese frosting for it. You are not the only one who thought it looked good. This is a picture of a lemon cake I made back in June. My dear husband who subscribes to my blog called me today and sheepishly asked....so.....uhhhhh....did you bake a lemon cake....today?
He threw me for a loop until I remembered the post! :) The reply, No hun, sorry, I was taking care of your parents today again. SOON!
